A moving theater of Florida video imagery by Charles Recher,
installed in the windows of the South Beach bus "Electrowave," travelled the streets of South Beach in October

 

     THEATER

VAN GOGH
Award-winning Brazilian actor Elias Andreato in his one-man tour de force, ran for five peformances at GableStage in Biltmore Hotel, in Coral Gables.


     PUPPET THEATER

The Photographer
A one-on-one puppet theater experience by The Box of Images,
viewed by peering into an old-style street photographer’s camera box.
A 3-minute miniature, magical, poetic work, it was seen by many daily during November in the streets and malls of Miami.


     CHILDREN'S DAY

Storytellers, dance games, puppet theater appeared at the Oceanfront Band Shell, 7250 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach


     MUSIC

Ivan Lins
legendary Brazilian singer/keyboardist/composer performed in November at Coral Gables Congregational Church


     DANCE

-Raw Footage, an evening-length choreographic collaboration by two of Florida’s most compelling dance artists, Gary Lund and Giovanni Luquini, danced by Lund, Luquini and Paulo Manso de Sousa, with original music by New York composer Fast Forward.
-Mother of Dreams, a dance solo by Susana Yamauchi.
-Santa Cruz, by the Marcia Milhazes Dance Company from Rio.
-Slices #1, 3 & 7, choreographed by Giovanni Luquini, danced by Luquini and Elaine Wright.
-Sintesis, danced by Miriam Eli to live Turkish and Armenian music by Joe Zeytoonian.
