On Thursday evening, February 22, at 7:30 pm, Emanuel will deliver a reading at Books & Books on Miami Beach, presented in partnership with Winter Party Festival and Design Within Reach. The next evening, at 7:30 pm, he will host a SpeakOut open mic for GLBT youth at the Miami Light Project's Lightbox. This open mic event will be presented in partnership with Winter Party Festival. Each participant (21 and under please) gets a chance to arouse, provoke and inspire with spoken word poetry! Material must be gay friendly.
