From the Horse's Mouth is a nationally-recognized dance project, started in 1988 in New York City that celebrates the "heart and history of dance." Thirty outstanding South Florida dancers and choreographes of all ages and traditions will perform together in choreographed 90-second "dance bites" – telling their extraordinary personal stories.

Participants include Helena Alonso, Mariana Alvarez (Brake), Dale Andree, Thomas Armour, Dale Andree, Freddick Bratcher, Diane (Trapp) Brownholtz, Octavio Campos, Arthur Curtis, Corky Dozier, Gerard Ebitz, Elena Garcia, Billie Kirpich, Katherine Kramer, Daniel Lewis, Lucrece Louisdhon, Louines Louinis, Madhavi Menon, Michael O’Hara, Pedro Pablo Pena, Yanis Pikieris, Karen Stewart, Ray Sullivan, Rosario Suarez, Helena Thevenot and Neri Torres.

All proceeds support the Professional Dance Fund, a new source of support for Miami dancers & independent choreographers.
