The following is the text taken from the back of the auction piece:

HAYDEE SCULL

Creator of Pictures in Third Dimension

ARTIST'S PERSONAL BROCHURE

Haydee Scull, painter and sculptor, graduated in the San Alejandro National Academy of Fine Arts in 1952. Since graduation she has produced profusely in this, her peculiar and original style of third dimension.

A poor artist, of very humble origin (raised in the Cayo Hueso Neighborhood in Havana) with a self-made technique; her keen-eye, sharp wit and subtle Cuban humor have made of Haydee Scull a genuine interpreter of Cuban folklore. An honor student at San Alejandro, her works have been highly praised at all exhibitions presented in Havana, having sold many of her paintings in the United States and other countries. Throughout her career she has displayed great perseverance and merit. She has brought to canvas the typical characters and happenings of every-day life of Cuba and Miami, full of beauty, color and flavor.

She came from Cuba in 1969. Here are her works. More than the intimate satisfaction of academic and critic's awards, Haydee Scull prefers your judgement.

It is hoped they will meet with your pleasure.
