Grant Peterson is a still life photographer who, in three decades of work, has left his mark on virtually every aspect of photography. Peterson's uses of light, color, design and printing has influenced a generation of photographers, filmmakers and artists, and was pivotal to the development of advertising's use of a personal vision to sell a brand. In 1989, Photo District News crowned him "The Sun King". In January 2002, "WTC," a show on the design, build, and destruction of the World Trade Center was held at the New York Historical Society. Paul Goldberger of The New York Times called Peterson's images "epic." Peterson photographed the set of the HBO TV Series "Six Feet Under" and published a book of the images in 2005. Peterson currently works and lives in New York City with his wife and daughter.
