This powerful, visceral play performed by Pia Fraus,
Brazil's award-winning / internationally recognized theater company,
dares to provoke with images of sex and death, obsession and beauty
through the adept manipulation of puppets, masks and props. Pia
Fraus draws from circus arts and physical-theater to transport the
viewer into the unsettling world of Brazil's most recognized playwright,
Nelson Rodrigues. The result is a sophisticated and inventive fusion
of forms packed with dramatic punch for a mature audience. This noted
company returns to Miami after last year's March 2002 appearance of
"Navigators" at the Tigertail FLA/BRA Festival.
